Magpies have become adept at using anti-bird spikes to protect themselves from other birds

It seems like a joke, but samples of such unusual nests can be seen in the Natural History Museum in Rotterdam. Plastic spikes are light and easy to use, birds specially fix them so that the barbs stick outward and in all directions. In addition to magpies, crows are also actively engaged in this.
