Jupiter’s satellite Europa has very little oxygen – not enough to sustain life

Jupiter’s ice-covered satellite Europa contains far less oxygen than previously thought, making it a far less favored candidate for supporting alien life.

Scientists came to the appropriate conclusion after they analyzed data from the Juno mission of the American space agency NASA. Conducted by researchers calculations indicate that the frozen surface of Europe produces only 12 kilograms of oxygen per second.
