Jupiter’s satellite Europa has very little oxygen – not enough to sustain life

It is noted that this figure is significantly lower than the predictions obtained as a result of computer modeling. These data, in turn, suggested that the surface of Jupiter’s satellite produces a ton of oxygen per second.

However, scientists still remain optimistic, because Europa, which is the fourth largest satellite of the gas giant and is known for its underwater ocean, can still have life in the form of microbes, and the low amount of oxygen does not make it uninhabitable at all.
